This is a gift/payment art for all the help that FortheLoveofKei gave me while I was having computer issues ;u; She seriously went out of her way to try and get me back up and running, and if not for her, I probably would've had to have spent at least double, probably triple what I did otherwise. Seriously, from the bottom of my heart and the top of my lungs, thank you
Wowie *w* I am impressed with myself on this one. Fewer textures this time around but dangin', I tried out two new shading styles in tandem; I've never done backlit shading before, and luckily it wasn't too difficult, as well as keeping the edges light. Plus, having an actual shine layer over the lineart and bouncing off Lyra, ahhh ;u; I think it turned out pretty dangin' good <X3 Not to mention it's an incredible improvement over the last time I tried drawing a floating island~ What a difference, right? I learned a thing or two from that one too, like don't leave your luminosity layers on transparencies, and some pretty cool sky techniques :3 Although I guess IPP kinda took care of all my space needs haha. Gah, I'm just so happy with how everything turned out; the moon looks great, the rocky texture looks amazing (can you believe I did all that shading myself??), Lyra of course looks beautiful, I challenge anyone to find me an example of Lyra not being gorgeous. I'm super happy with it, so I hope you like it Kei~!
